I got that after playing a 1.4 demo in Seismovision.
I could not get COD to work after that. Had to reinstall it.
But the Seismovision update that is on the way will cure this problem.

it WOULD cure the problem if it would let you convert them, but alas on the main screen where u convert to other versions, it doesnt' even have CoD in the drop down anymore, therefore I can't convert anything to work.
I do think just installing the 1.04 patch will fix this up though.

To fix this u dont need to completely reinstall CoD. Do the following
Goto Start
Run
Regedit
HK_Local_Machine/Software/Activision/Call of Duty
Change the Version number to 1.3
Reinstall the 1.4 patch
As always when altering the registry it is advisable to mack a backup, if u do anything wrong and windows wont boot u can restore the registry from this backup.
If you are at all unsure of what you are doing, please do not mess with the registry.

Please some one with a interface mismatch problem send me a list of your files in your 'main' directory of Call of Duty installation and also the exact file size of codmp.exe. I need this information to try resolve this problem. Send an email to
[email protected].
