For some reason rewelator, the demo player i've been using previously stopped working. I'm trying out seismovision but its important for me to have access to viewdemo at a minimum, I scoured the options and forums and it doesn't seem like there's any mention of it, or how to set it up within the program.

Seismovision uses the startdemos and demos commands to play demos in play lists. I will have a look at the view demo command and maybe add it as an options in the next version.

Hi I've registered your software because I find it very useful for viewing CS:S Demos. I'm an admin for a games network in australia. Is there any chance of adding viewdemo support to hl1 demos?

Grab Seismovision v3.02 BETA 1 from the Update System. I added HL1 (Steam) support.

Hi,

Thanks for adding that. But I'm afraid I didn't make it exactly clear what I was trying to ask for. So let me try again.

Seismovision currently plays demos from HL1 engine based games, eg CS 1.6, DoD, Opposing Force, etc using a command playdemo.

There is another command, called viewdemo. viewdemo functions very similarly to playdemo but with one exception, it allows for demo controls to be brought up using the F2 key, letting you rewind or skip forward. What I was originally trying to ask for, was if support to launch demos using the viewdemo command could be added.

I apologise for not making myself clear in the first case.

Regards,
Fireslide
