Does not support HL Demos

I try to add the HL Counter-Strike demos to the playlist and it does not allow me to. Can anyone help?

Seismmovision does not support demo play lists with Half-Life. Thats why you cannot add any into the play list editor. Just double click on a Half-Life demo to play it.

I have 2 problems...

1) when i try to add a demo to the playlist, nothing gets loaded and nothing happens.

2) when i double click on a demo to view it, it says this in my console:

couldn't exec seis_base.cfg
couldn't exec seismovision.cfg
Playdemo: Time scale 1.000000
Playing demo from seismovision.dem.
ERROR: couldn't open

I am having this same problem and cannot figure out what the heck to do. I tried to run it with out steam but it wont let me. can anyone help me i am really confused.

I just a had a look at Half-Life and my Seismo plays it alright. What versions of Seismovision and Half-Life are you guys using? Is steam installed? Any information would be useful.

Half-Life or Counter-Strike Retail demos cannot be added to the Play list Editor as Seismovision2 does not support playing this demo type in play list. This will be different in Seismovision3.
