Problem running Tactical Ops demos

Seems something went wrong in the 2.24 version.
When i try running a Tactical Ops 3.4(UT mod) demo the game start but doesnt load the demo and its the same story with regular UT demos.
Other games like q3 works perfectly.
I didnt have this kinda problems in the version before 2.24.
A friend of mine has the exact same problem.
Help would be appreciated.
