Converting Files???

Post by |AF|BoehserOnkel »

Hello!

I ve a question about converting the Seismovision - Files.
I play Call of Duty and someone of may Clan told me about Sesmovision and so I tried to view the demo-Movie of Call of Duty.

Now my question: Is it possible to convert these Seismovision - Files into mpeg or avi FILES.

THX for any replies that may help!

Try Fraps 2.0. It allows you to capture ANY game directly to AVI with sound. It uses it's own lossless codec and thus might result in large files. NTFS highly recommended :P . You will then have to convert it to another more disk space-friendly format like MPEG-4.

movies from demos

this is my method at the moment.

using FRAPS (free versions available from http://www.fraps.com ) you can record an avi movie from the replay, then (seeing as it will be a massive file size) throw it through windows movie maker in XP to fit a file size that suits.

this is better than recording directly with fraps, as fraps hammers your frame rates something terrible, even on a pretty high spec PC. (my XP2200 with 1gig of ram drops to about 1/2 frame rate when using fraps in COD).

hope this is helpful.
