Do I update?

I already have v2.21. Which works great for me. this morning I was wanting to update,but wasn't sure which download to choose. I use this for Sof2. If I select full do I need to uninstall first?
I'd like to receive Call of Duty for xmas so this is why I would like to update it,otherwise I would leave it at it's current version.
