When I attempt to run a CoD2 demo I get a fatal error message. I select the demo I want and launch it using Seismovision, the usual CoD2 flash screen appears foolwed by the usual loading screen (always the Beltot map for some reason). After a few seconds I get kicked to the desktop with the following message displayed:
"FATAL ERROR
Error during initialization: script compile error (see console for details)"
The console then states: 'unknown function@12499'
Anyone else have this error?

Could you send me the full console text per e-mail ([email protected])? I suspect you got some kind of mod installed that is prohibiting demo play. What you can also try is to remove all mods and try again. When that works, add one by one to identify the faulty mod.
