To create a demo, type /demorecord into the console (press ~ (tilde) to get the console) before joining a match. /demostop will stop the recodring. Hope this helps you.

Does this work in Single player as well? If so i did exaxtly what you said to do open Console and typed /Demorecord then when i was done i typed /demostop and the console said the demo stopped or something like that..

BUt i looked all over for the file, cant find it, was i suppose to name the file in the console before i started to record in Single player?, if iwas how do i do that?

It should work for single player as well, have nerver tried that though. your are right with the file name, you have to type that as well.

To record a demo in Painkiller. You have to schedule a demo record before you load a single player map or join a multiplayer match. Type /demorecord <filename> into the console and Painkiller will say 'Demo record schedueled' or something like that. Start single player or join multi player match and a demo will be recorded. Type /demostop to stop recording when you are done. The demo is saved into the \Recordings directory in your Painkiller root. Enjoy!

Well it worked Beautifully.. No Music was recorded.. but thats fine by me..

There was some dropped frames though on playback. is there a way to fix that.

the sounds of the game was recorded ( e.g. Firing, lightning, collecting coins)
but no music.. Other than that , it did playback nicley..

Just need to fix the dropped frame thingy.. any suggestions?

Dropped frames can occur on listen servers, on dedicated servers this should not be.

Try asking on the Painkiller forums for commands and additional help for the specific game.
