it simply crashes out of game, no error messages, it just goes straight back to desktop as if nothing was ever running

i've tried the console workaround as included in seismovision but this didn't solve the situation

When i go to record using cl_avidemo 30 command in COD2, my demo will randomly crash out at some point during my recording

any ideas would be much appreciated
