Post by garcia2100 »

I use seismoision for watching demos on CoD2, and it works, and i capture video using fraps, but when im done watching the demo, and i exit the game, windows freezes, the game exits, and i see the window folder where i keep my demos, but then i cant see anything, why is that?

When you start the task manager do you see any programs listed as 'Not Responding' after the freeze or does windows totally stop responding (not even mouse movement)?

(get the Windows Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete)

Does this problem also occur after watching a demo without Fraps?

Well now we know that Seismovision is causing the freeze. Normally after a game shuts down, Seismovision notices this and starts clean up (removing demo configs etc.).

Could you send me your Seismovision logs? Maybe the logs can give me an idea what the problem could be. You will find them in the \logs folder of your Seismovision installation. Send them to [email protected]
