When you start the task manager do you see any programs listed as 'Not Responding' after the freeze or does windows totally stop responding (not even mouse movement)?

With what game do you have this problem?

I found your problem. pak0.pk3 is missing. Re-install Quake 3 Arena or copy the file from the CD to you baseq3 folder to fix this problem. You most likely installed a minimum install.

You already posted this at http://www.planetquake3.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1645 and I did reply.

Quake 3 Arena did not find its working directory and tried to start up in 'demo' (trial) mode. What version of Seismovision did you use? Normally re-checking the game path in Seismovision fixes this problem.

Are you using Call of Duty v1.3? I had a couple of reports with problems with that version.
